Great Caesar’s ghost, Superman! What a story! Talk about grit. I tried to open the Gush Katif pdf on my Kindle and am having issues. I have to read it on my laptop. Is it full of these types of near death adventures? And who is the cutie with the flag?
The book? Near death adventures? No, It is a very well written book that gives one a feel of what was Gush Katif. Not everything I will be writing about Gush Katif is so adventurous. This project in process, the Oslo Follies, is to show what it was like on the ground watching the experiment--with living Jews as laboratory rats--to twist reality towards the product of a fevered academic dream that inevitably led to Oct 7.
The cutie is my granddaughter Shira. That orange flag, and the color orange in general, were used by us when we protested the expulsion. On the left is my daughter Naama, of my previous post, and Israel on the right.
I chose it because by my figuring, when we start to resettle the Gaza Strip, she will lead the way for our family. She is a powerhouse even at this young age.
She looks like she is full of righteous fire!!! 🔥 just landed at o’hare. The guy sitting in my row with his wife was wearing a kipah and tzitzit. It is a sure sign of life.

At first glance, I thought it was Naama but, then noticed her in the background.
Great family photo!!!

What a story and so well told!
Thanks Dena.
Exciting episode.
Stay tuned.
Captivating and tense. Ultimate stakes in play. Directed my thoughts to Psalm 31 -
But I trust in you, Lord;I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.
It's a shame Israelis are forced to live this way. I hate the muslim "palestinian" enemy with every fiber of my being.
We live this way by our own twisted choice.
The disengagement in 2005 from Gaza was one of Israel’s worst mistakes
Absolutely.
