This is an amazing story. It will give me plenty to ponder for some time. I can't say that I am ready to say anything else for the moment. That's rare for me, but I defer. Thank you for this.

Hi Rosie. Believe me, I wasn't picking on New Zealand. I heard somewhere that billionaires were building hideouts for the Apocolypse on your fair island.

Very well done, Reb Ehud! The message is quite cryptic. I must think about it and read it again.

Best, Peter

This story is a deeply insightful, complex, and provocative allegory probing human nature as it responses to unimaginable evil and the persistent suffering from trauma. The resulting outcomes are bleak and do not speak well of human nature. There seems to be an interplay between G-d, (machiach?) and satan. Lots to explore here - no simple story - from Jewish blood for matza to gentile blood to sustain Jewish life. And then there's the Soros connection.
