"They who built the wall, and they who bore burdens, loaded themselves in such a way that with one of his hands each laboured in the work, and with the other hand he held a weapon." (Nehemiah 4:11)
Long but good read. Thank you. I could actually see the nest once you found it. The nest must be protected from scavengers no matter the cost. Something that can never be taken for granted..

Insert the parenthetical verb:
This emasculation of their phallic weapon should have (been) humiliating for the Arabs of Gaza. Somehow, it wasn’t.
Thanks Candace. Good point about my not sourcing the Captagon claim. Maybe my next piece. It started during the "Knife Intifada," when we couldn't understand how an Arab strolling peacefully down the street could--within the flash of an eye--draw his weapon and fatally stab a random Jew before that Jew even knew that there was a threat. Meaning, the first stab was powerful, accurate, and deadly, not an easy thing to do.
That’s why I recommend to all my Israeli friends to carry a 45, despite the weight. They don’t listen to me. They put hollowpoints in their 9mm and think that will suffice.
I pray this is the case. Please Israel, do not hesitate to completely destroy ALL of your enemies who are also our enemies in the diaspora. Ignore the global outcry no matter what they accuse you of.
Quite a collection of thoughts! Some beautiful and serene ones—and some harrowing ones. I learned a good bit. In particular, I didn’t realize that the mongoose was native or that parakeets were out of control.
I think you are right. In the news last week: the terrorists lost their way trying to get to Netivot, and ran into the rave. I think that I am going to re-repress that thought for a while.
Ehud, I just saw this. Such powerful writing! The first half is as distracting as the plover's aerial dance while the second half hits like a fist to the gut! Ed
Thank you!
Love it.
Thank you.
Such a harrowing and chilling tale it leaves me speechless, grim and tight-lipped with iron in the heart. Well done, Ehud. Well done.
Thank you Stephen. I like that: “grim and tight-lipped with iron in the heart.” Bullseye.
Wowowow. No words.אין מילים

Thanks. Will edit after prayers.
Done. Thanks for the heads-up Esmeralda!
👍🏻
What an amazing piece of writing. Brilliant
Thank you Sheri.
Wonderful. Thank you.
Thank you for reading!
A metaphor rich essay.
Gracias.
Captagon - the drug of choice for Jew haters throughout the world?
Certain politicians in the US must have a supplier from Gaza.
Did the authorities tox screen the bodies of the terrorists?
Entirely believable, just curious about the source.
This Shabbat can’t come soon enough.

The .45 ACP cartridge was designed by John Moses Browning as a man stopper for drug fueled insurrectionists in the Philippines.
Drug enhanced performance goes back to the assassins of India.

Yes and load it with hollow points

"All of Israel’s enemies must be completely destroyed with no quarter given. Now the spur in the plover’s wing will be unsheathed.

Thanks for your comment, Robert.
"They were captivated by Captigon, the amphetamine of choice for wild-eyed Arab murderers the middle-east over."
I thought so. From the start, I thought so. This has not been covered at all well in the US media.
You might also have been saved by the acid-dropping ravers. The monsters didn't expect to find them.
