This is a dry announcement.
I am ending my standard practice of posting everything for free forever.
Here is what I am going to do:
All of my standard posts will be free for three months, after which they will be archived and fully available only to paying subscribers. A substantial preview will still be available to free subscribers.
I will be adding some premium content for paid subscribers. As of now that will include a short weekly or bi-weekly podcast.
Founding members extra benefits remain the same. Personal video chats and an invitation to drinks and a meal at our house in Israel.
At the end of my standard posts, I will be adding links (with a short introduction to each) to selected archived material behind the paywall. This is me fishing for new paying subscribers. An archive fishing safari. The first attempt to access archived material should produce an offer for a one week paid subscription, that will open the entire archive. After that initial week, if a free-subscriber wants to access archived material, that subscriber must choose a paid option. If a subscriber is interested in one particular post, the monthly option (7$) is available. That too will open the entire archive, and can be cancelled at will.
Summary for free subscribers:
Nothing changes for you as long as you read the posts within 3 months, meaning, before the posts disappear forever at the bottom of your inbox.

Judaism and Joyce’s Ulysses?
I’m not the first to write about it but I have written first about certain things. Here is an example
Leaving one world and entering another
Having finally reached my desk, I opened the window wide and opened Maimonides to the chapter on the laws of repentance, and cried out:
-Wake up you sleepy ones from your sleep and you who slumber, arise. Inspect your deeds, repent, remember your Creator!
