Appreciate the update, only suggestion would be to add "further on end", the reveal of the supreme Court being the cause of limited if not no response by the IDF got me worked up and irked

Francisco Gil White and his reveal of the obvious was another irksome moment last week, but my suspicions are now confirmed of the malevolent nature of the United States and it's malicious intent towards Israel.https://youtu.be/u_d6jT5uFbY?si=brvYNCyYvdAbl7Rm

The end game from every administration has been peace plan after peace plan that requires Israel to give up more land to the ever belligerent PLO, when Iraq fell because USA it took away stability and allowed islamists from Iran to propagate there

More nuance to it than that but he points to the PLL and the current prime minister of the territories traveling to Iran to train the irgc guard and them being descendants of the mufti. NATO being infested with ex Nazis along with how many Nazi scientists came to the US and elsewhere all ties the end game of getting the Jews

Sub stack is notifying me that d. M. Has blocked me and I can't follow her, not sure what's up with that and I replied to the email that came earlier that got me two sub stack but not to that article with a screenshot showing that she had blocked me fwiw. I'm only a prick to the Jew haters

I think, Ehud, you may want to hear it all. Much we already know, but very good insight on ‘why’ the extreme hx of Israel and the Palestinians.

Suggest you put a link to the riveting original and followup articles. This deeply disturbing information could shake the paint off walls at the highest echelons of Israel's military and political leadership, if and when the legit facts get out to the public. Our presumed "allies" are no doubt also closely watching to see what aspects of their possible role in the developing spy debacle are revealed.

Hi Ehud,

On the one hand you think I'm right, but the message I get from this post is that there was such a man.

I'm not at home right now so I can't develop my thoughts via text dictation. I will return in a few hours and give you my reasoning at greater length.

Just for now, I would like to thank you for engaging with me in such a civil fashion. Because it's only via civil engagement that we can arrive at the truth. Screaming insults does no good.

Diana.

I'd like to wait until your next installment(s) and more facts come out.

So far it sounds to me like a story made up by people who have something to hide: their own massive incompetence. But maybe not.

Even so, I don't understand how this "spy" impeded the chain of command which resulted in total paralysis to the point where basic self-defense didn't happen for 10 hours. Israel has dozens of transport helicopters. It's a small country. This spy prevented the air force from helicoptering troops to the south? Am I missing something? It's not clear to me.

I don't think the spy had an influence on the Oct 7 disaster but rather the special ops attacks that were to free hostages and kill hamas leaders.

That's what it seems to be, at least on the surface. I suggest reading Diana's post on the subject (I cross-posted it). Though it seems clear now that the charge sheet disproves her contention that there was no spy, still, she says one thing that reeks of truth: that even if there were a spy he wouldn't be bringing anything that hadn't already been processed and willfully leaked by senior officers in these top-secret meetings. Depressing!

Sure - I could be wrong. I decided to post regardless of that because I wanted to point out what Ehud condensed so well: what secret info are we talking about?

**

I forgot to say one thing: I feel that whoever knows his name should tell it even at the risk of imprisonment.

What's more important - your career or Israel's survival?

Your career or the truth?

Unless divulging his name would somehow compromise Israel's survival or revealing the whole truth anyone who knows it should publicly say it.

Is it true the suspect is in a psych facility?

I first heard about this case at the beginning of the war in Gaza, but because of the general turmoil, I lost track of the news. On February 12, I discussed this case with people who, like me, are interested in conflicts, their context and everything connected with them, primarily history.

It seemed to us similar to the story of the German adventurer Wilhelm Voigt, who in 1906 put on the uniform of a captain of the German guard, stopped two squads of soldiers with sergeants, took command over them, went with them to the city of Köpenick, arrested the mayor and treasurer, held the city hall for some time, giving orders, making telephone conversations, and then disappeared. He went down in German history as the "Captain of Köpenick"

Why is this case similar? Not because both cases involved a captain, but because both cases stirred up society, no visible harm was revealed to the state and society, and both showed the vulnerability of any system that faces an unusual situation.

In one of the interviews with Ayala Hasson, it was said that the spy entered the base with a driver's license. And this is possible and quite understandable. As well as his presence at meetings (I doubt that he was present at important meetings, most likely these were meetings of the officer corps with senior officials).

I can even understand how it is possible to deceive the surrounding officers and even senior officers for a short time.

At this point, this story could be forgotten, because Avi Weiss's version and Ayala Hasson's investigation did not add anything that could clarify this case (and may even have confused it).

But questions remain:

- Why was it necessary to classify all the details of the case if no harm was done, there is no danger, but information about this case has already become public knowledge.

- What kind of games are you playing with a psychiatric examination, and what kind of structures can conduct business in this way? This gives rise to more questions and rumors.

- And finally, does no one understand that the more this case is hushed up and hidden, the stronger the public outcry, rumors, and interest of investigative journalists?

For me, the entire range of possibilities is still open, from a crazy adventure like Wilhelm Voigt to an intra-state conspiracy to interfere with the actions of political opponents. And until there is at least a brief, official explanation without details, this will not change

Solid writing Viktor. Though I have made the decision to back off for now until the story gets out officially, there was one thing I should have done, because of the "unbelievability" of the affair. And that was to share the official charge sheet. I didn't have the heart to translate it. Here it is, in Hebrew, free for all to see: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ao2U0pUYVlFLGgiKPDvCBc-c3wQvYEeU/view

Thank you, Ehud. First of all, I scrolled down and looked at the date. This is one of the first sessions (maybe the first). I will read it with interest, although I already know that this is the most secret court decision. I know about another court decision on February 12, it lifted some of the secrecy, but did not clarify anything. Shabbat shalom.

When I visited Israel earlier this year, I was in Jerusalem and met a certain person in a shop that I went to buy items of my visit. While discussing various aspects of what was happening in Israel, he told me that a certain Rabbi was in Tehran advising against Israel. The man apparently believes that the Jews should not be allowed to live in Israel until after the arrival of the Messiah.

I have read many of the spy stories written by Amir Tsarfati about Niv Tavor but your “story” just knocked me down completely. Mind you nothing is surprising about this when we have recently been told about a business man who visited Turkey often who was smuggled in Iran to receive $1 million to assassinate 3 top Israeli government officials!

I was just wondering aloud if that certain person was “spying” for the Leftists within and outside of Israel ? Was he being paid to do so ?

Also why would the special forces raids to get back the hostages compromise any of the “spies” IF any were indeed embedded ? If there were any such group embedded why are they still not able to find any of the hostages ?

All these people who act against Israel are traitors. The General who was responsible for the 1967 capture of Jerusalem should have taken it ALL, never should have allowed Jerusalem to be divided. That was an extremely dangerous and costly mistake.

Ehud Neor's avatar

First question: I don't know.

Second question: The enemy was not ready for so many hostages, and since there was no immediate counterattack by Israel, most hostages were kept in areas known by Israeli intelligence. There were plans in play to rescue those hostages. Once it was known that those plans were compromised, they had to be cancelled. By then the hostages were being separated and pulled deeper into the tunnels.

Your last point: We were happy with what we managed to get at the time.

Missed opportunities due to traitors are very costly. A terrible shame. When I was in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem I had several conversations with people who had served in the IDF before, most were a little bit unhappy with what former Prime Ministers had given away, hoping for Peace.
